Peter Wyles
Peter Wyles is the Vice President, General Manager of Bayer Diabetes Care in Sunnyvale, California, responsible for site operations at the A1CNow+ business located there. Peter joined Diabetes Care from Bayer Consumer Care in Canada, where he was the Vice President, General Manager, responsible for the company's $80 million consumer healthcare business. Prior to this role, he served in three different positions at Bayer Yakuhin in Japan: Head of Marketing for Pharma, where he was responsible for the proactive management of major international brands, including ADALAT , BAYASPIRIN , GLUCOBAY , and CIPROXAN ; CDH for Consumer Care, where he was responsible for growing the consumer OTC products business by establishing a new marketing and sales partnership to re-launch Bayer Aspirin ; and Head of Marketing for Consumer Care, where he led the development of marketing strategies, media trade promotion and market research activities. Peter began his career with Bayer in Germany in 1995, where he took part in the International Management Program. Prior to joining Bayer, he held positions in Clinical Trials and International Licensing at Asahi Chemical Industry Company, Ltd., in Tokyo, Japan. Prior to his career in business, Peter served in the United States Marine Corps.
Peter holds a BA in International Politics from Pennsylvania State University and a MBA from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management in Arizona.
