Meter Studies

Self-monitoring of blood glucose levels is essential to evaluating therapeutic efficacy, and to the adjustment of nutrition, exercise and medications necessary to achieving optimal blood glucose control and diabetes care.

Bayer Diabetes Care offers a full line of products to meet the diverse testing needs of people with diabetes. It is with the understanding that if a meter meets the needs of the tester, than they are more likely to test to recommended standards and thus more likely to be able to better manage their diabetes.

During the last two decades, Bayer has sought to demonstrate through various consumer studies that its blood glucose meters could meet these needs.
