Mark Morgan
Head of Business Planning and Administration
Mark Morgan is Head of Business Planning and Administration for Diabetes Care. In this role, he has global responsibility for all aspects of finance, strategic planning, business development and site operations.
Mark has more than 25 years of finance experience. Prior to joining Bayer HealthCare Diabetes Care, Mark owned a finance consulting business, and held the positions of Vice President, Corporate Finance at Mylan Labs in Morgantown, West Virginia, a multi-billion dollar publicly-traded generics company; Vice President, Finance-Global Research at Pfizer; and Senior Director of Finance - Global Operations for the pharmaceutical sector of Warner-Lambert. He has also held positions as Operations Controller for Goedecke in Freiburg, Germany; and Director of Finance for Confectionary Operations in Rockford, Illinois.
Mark received a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana State University, where he is a distinguished alumni, and a M.B.A. from Illinois State University. Mark has been published three times and is a frequent speaker at conferences regarding business process excellence.
