Bayer Offers you a choice of monitors to fit your needs.
The CONTOUR® meter from Bayer uses CONTOURTM Test Strips and the BREEZE® uses the convenient AUTODISC® that holds 10 test strips.
All the Bayer meters are cleared for alternative site testing. That means you can use them on less sensitive testing sites like your:
- forearm
- palm
- abdomen or thigh
and spare your fingers. That flexibility (not to mention less pain!) can help you control your diabetes better.
While alternative site testing is a good choice for many people wiht diabetes, please talk to your healthcare professional to see if it is right for you.

Each time you test, you need a drop of blood, which you get by using a lancing device. The Ascensia® MICROLET® Adjustable Lancing Device lets you form a small, round drop of blood on your fingertip. It also comes with an optional clear endcap for alternate site testing. The Ascensia® MICROLET® VACULANCE® Lancing Device, lets you get a blood drop from your arm, thigh or other fleshy areas of your body.
