No Coding™ technology
You and your healthcare team rely on your blood glucose readings to manage your diabetes. So when it comes to testing your blood glucose, accuracy is key. And the fewer steps it takes to reach accurate results, the better. No Coding™ technology ensures that the correct code is automatically set any time a new test strip is inserted– so there are fewer steps and less chance for inaccurate results due to a miscoded meter. Unlike the meters that need to be manually coded in order to obtain accurate results, Bayer’s CONTOUR® and BREEZE®2 meters both feature No Coding™ technology.

Did you know... No Coding™ technology eliminates the need to manually code your meter. This means no inaccurate results due to miscoding meters. |
What is Coding?
Coding, or calibrating, is the process by which a blood glucose meter is matched with the reactivity of the test strips.
For accuracy of blood glucose test results, some blood glucose meters need be coded (or calibrated) manually. Usually this is done by inserting a code strip or entering a code number into the meter. This coding needs to be done every time a new box of test strips is opened.
Unlike most blood glucose meters, Bayer’s CONTOUR® and BREEZE®2 meters have No Coding™ technology, so you never need to manually enter a code or a code chip.
Why Does Coding Matter?
Because you and your healthcare team rely on your blood glucose readings to manage your diabetes, an improperly coded meter may impact your therapy decisions.
